About VoNR.co.uk

About this site

VoNR.co.uk is a technical reference site covering Voice over New Radio in depth. It was built as the natural companion to voltesim.co.uk – the UK VoLTE reference. Together the two sites cover the complete arc of modern mobile voice: from the IMS architecture and ISIM provisioning that underpins both VoLTE and VoNR, through the technical transition from 4G to 5G SA, to the EVS codec and network slicing capabilities that define the 5G voice experience.

The site is written for engineers, network architects, product specifiers, and technical buyers who need accurate, specification-referenced information rather than consumer-level summaries.

Author

Technical content is written by Peter Green, an IoT and cellular connectivity specialist with over 25 years in telecoms. Peter’s focus areas include LTE and 5G architecture, eSIM and eUICC, industrial IoT connectivity, and UK network evolution. His technical writing covers the full stack from SIM provisioning to core network architecture.

Standards and accuracy

All content references 3GPP and GSMA specifications by release number and document identifier. UK operator deployment data references official operator communications. No figures are cited without a verifiable source. Content is reviewed technically before publication.
